About the role:
We are seeking experienced Children’s Social Workers to join our Children’s Services teams. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive local authority committed to improving outcomes for children, young people and their families.
To deliver a high-quality statutory social work service to children, young people and their families, ensuring children are safeguarded and supported to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake assessments, Child in Need and Child Protection work
• Manage a caseload in line with statutory responsibilities and local procedures
• Prepare high-quality assessments, reports and care plans
• Contribute to court work, including statements and care proceedings where required
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in accordance with policies and legislation
